FCPNY's first ever Seasoned Sales Rep Training Session, held October 23, 2009, was a fabulous success! There were 77 in attendance from 14 participating publications. Experience ranged from less that 1 year on up to 33 years with an impressive total of nearly 900 years sales experience!

Jim Busch of the Pittsburgh Pennysaver presented the topic "Selling Advertising in a Changing World." Many of you may know Jim as the author of Link-n-Learn, the popular monthly PaperChain sales articles. He has also done training at multiple association conferences and is on the staff of The Learning Institute (TLI), AFCP's sales accreditation and training initiative. His presentation featured training customized to the changing needs and challenges of our unique industry and his candid insights were well received by those in attendance.

The open forum where you could interrupt and ask a question any time was helpful too (usually I want to concentrate on what the speaker is saying and will forget what I wanted to ask).
